The Fiscal Year 2012 budget has been reworked following the Special Town Meeting Vote of July 19. 2011.
Updated budget pages will be posted as soon as staff time allows.

A copy of the budget is available for viewing in the Clerk's Office
and at the Library during regular business hours.

SOUTH BERWICK BUDGET PROCESS
Budget request forms are delivered to the Department Heads in January
as soon as possible after the first 6 months of the fiscal year.
Departmental budget requests are due back to the Manager at the end of the month.
The Town Manager reviews the Department requests to create the Manager's proposed budget.
The Council meets in workshops with the Manager and Department Heads as needed during the month of March.
The Budget Public Hearing is held annually in April.
The Town Council's budget is finalized by the end of April.
The budget is then formatted for printing in the Town Report and
sent to the printer for inclusion in the Report which is disseminated prior to Town Meeting.
We endeavor to have the Town Report available two weeks prior to Town Meeting.
