Absent: Marcia Flinkstrom

Meeting began at 6 PM.

Single Participant & Group Input Summaries from Vision Meeting of January
28  were passed out for the committee to review before our discussion began.

We agreed to 8pm stop time.

State Policies for developing the comprehensive plan were circulated to
help focus the discussion on the needs and priorities of our task.

State policy requests the plan to encompass a 10 to 20 year vision of
where we want to be.~ We began by looking at the policies ~ strategies ~ and
status developed in the prior Plan.
Priorities of this committee are not only to focus on what is needed to
control "GROWTH" AND/OR "SPRAWL", but to work with the existing council
and planning board in incorporating these changes into the Zoning Ordinances.

The committee noted that the major concern of the people attending the
vision meeting was Traffic, Parking, Growth, and Maintaining services with
the allowed growth.

In an attempt to approach these matters in an orderly fashion the
committee agreed to begin by focusing on Commercial and Industrial Growth.

Following are the basic areas touched upon and discussed in the meeting:
