~
Cultural Assets:~ We combined our lists, which included;~ many So. Berwick residents who are noted musicians, artists, writers, artisans, producers, ect.~ our geographical location which plays a key role in the cultural contributions made to our town.~ We currently have several events that highlight and display our resident's talents.~ Our residents have shown support and appreciation of cultural activities.
~
Cultural needs:~ The identified needs are; the lack ofnotification of~when events are taking place. We have a dire need for central location to display artisan's work and for musical and theatrical performances.~ We need to look to available funding sources as well as a committee to oversee these identified needs.
~
Plans for Completion:~ Next meeting, Apr. 21, 2003, we will write a draft paper to be edited and finalized during the Apr 28, 2003 meeting.
