Salmon Falls River Greenbelt Plan-  Cathy and Pat have written what portion has been rewritten into publisher.  Pat spoke with Jean about finishing this write up and she is still waiting for a write up from Tom Harmon.  Jean and Pat had visited the fish ladder last year when the alewives were running but it was a very raining day.  Jean will reschedule for us in a couple of weeks once she is done with the budget process for the town council.  It is very interesting and we can go over early in the morning, we need pictures for the greenbelt plan.  Pat wants to get official permission from OBHS t o use some of their pictures for the plan, and will take care of that after.

Budget-  Has been approved by Town Manager.
Karl mentions a Federal and State Program -Project Canopy- which gives out grants for municipal land management.  They are accepting applications next winter for planning money to develop a management plan for a parcel of town land.  We should look into it in November, due beginning of February.
Karl will contact Maine Forest Service to move ahead with Woods in Backyard Lecture Series for fall '07.

Mt. A Steering Committee-  Did not attend- No report.

Planning Board- Pat walked the parcel on Thurrell Rd with Steve Bodkin at the request of the planning board to check the work of the forester and loggers, at the spot where a bridge went over the brook some of the banking slipped and .  Steve assured her that it was mostly snow and ice and that the skidder could use its claws to pull it back, in the spring as soon as the ground can be worked Steve will seed that area.  All was set and Pat sent a note to Dennis Smith, chair of the planning board.  Pat checked again and the banking is repaired
John reports that the planning board discussed the Rocky Gorge Condo Development project (Map 20, Lot 17).  He says that they seem to have addressed the storm water management issues, and they under control. Also, the Testaverde Subdivision discussion continued (Map 3, Lot 26).
Impact fees- Roger Cole has sent Pat a draft which she forwarded.  Meeting is on April 24th at 7pm as of now.

Management Plans-  Pat will be talking with Steve Bodkin about finishing up the management plan.
surrounding parcel up by Wild Rose Lane?
Maps-the best way for us to get updated and large format maps is from Sue Bickford at the Wells Reserve.  Pat will call.

Old Business-Voss signs we missed our scheduled day, when do we want to reschedule at April Meeting.
Wooley Adelgid workshop- Pat has submitted the bill for $30.00.

New Business-  George Muller has asked Pat if we could get involved with the Arbor Day tree sale.  He is concerned that all the trees have been cut on  Paul St and need to be replaced.  Pat asked him to check into it and perhaps we can put it in the budget for '09.  Pat told him we would need a guarantee that people on Paul street would want the trees.
Lot 37C-Land on Bennett Rd.  3 ½ acres, $7,900-  Town taking it because failed to pay taxes.  We should walk it to see if town should keep it or not.  We will check map, do walk later in season, maybe in May.

Respectfully Submitted,
Cari Quater
