SOUTH BERWICK TOWN COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 10, 2008
Chairman Suzanne Roberge called the meeting to order at 1:00pm. Those present included Councilors Robert Gagne, Michelle Kareckas, Jean Demetracopoulos, and David Burke.
NEW BUSINESS
1. On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to enter executive session at 1:01pm pursuant to 1MRSA §405.6E, for consultation between the Council and the Council’s attorney concerning settlement discussions.
Jeffrey Grossman, Town Manager, stated that he and his attorney were not given prior written notice of the executive session.
The Council, (without the Manager), moved to the Manager’s office to consult with the attorney by phone.
The Chair reported the following to the Clerk:
On a motion by Mrs. Kareckas, seconded by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, it was unanimously voted to end the executive session at 2:04pm.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mr. Burke, it was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 2:05pm.
