SOUTH BERWICK TOWN COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 21, 2008
Chairman Suzanne Roberge called the meeting to order at 11:01am. Those present included Councilors Robert Gagne, Michelle Kareckas, Jean Demetracopoulos, and David Burke.
Chairman Roberge made note that Town Manager Jeffrey Grossman was present; and Mr. Grossman’s attorney David Lourie was notified of the meeting, but was not present.
NEW BUSINESS
1. On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to enter executive session at 11:03am pursuant to 1MRSA §405.6E, for consultation between the Council and the Council’s attorney regarding settlement discussions.
The Council moved to the Manager’s office to hold a conference call with the attorney.
The Chair reported the following to the Clerk:
On a motion by Mrs. Kareckas, seconded by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, it was unanimously voted to end the executive session at 11:59am.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 12:00pm.
The Council did sign the 24 hour meeting notice waiver.
