SOUTH BERWICK TOWN COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 26, 2008
Chairman Suzanne Roberge called the meeting to order at 12:00pm. Those present included Councilors Michelle Kareckas and Jean Demetracopoulos. Robert Gagne and David Burke were not present.
Consensus was to act on new business out of order.
NEW BUSINESS
2. On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to appoint Fern Houliares as Deputy Treasurer and Beverly Hasty as Deputy Tax Collector.
1. On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to enter executive session at 12:05pm pursuant to 1MRSA § 405.6A and § 405.6E to consult with the attorney regarding the Town Manager’s position.
The Council moved to the Manager’s office to hold a conference call with the attorney.
The Chair reported the following to the Clerk:
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to end the executive session at 1:28 pm.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 1:29pm.
