PUBLIC HEARING
DECEMBER 8, 2003
Lynch’s Junkyard


Chairman Robert Gagne opened the hearing at 6:30pm.  Councilors present included John Ford, John Rudolph, Suzanne Roberge, and Richard Clough.  Jon St. Pierre, the Town Manager was also in attendance.

The purpose of the hearing was to receive public comment on the renewal of a junkyard permit on Route 236 for Charles Lynch.

No one in the audience wished to speak.  The hearing was closed at 6:32pm.

Emery’s Junkyard


Chairman Robert Gagne opened the hearing at 6:40pm.  Councilors present included John Ford, John Rudolph, Suzanne Roberge, and Richard Clough.  Jon St. Pierre, the Town Manager was also in attendance.

The purpose of the hearing was to receive public comment on the renewal of a junkyard permit on Emery’s Bridge Road for Stuart Emery.

Clifford Cleary, Spillane’s Hill, stated that he felt that Emery’s Junkyard has been an asset to South Berwick since the 1960s.

The hearing was closed at 6:42pm.
