The South Berwick Police Department is accepting applications for an anticipated full time Police Officer position opening and to establish an eligibility list.
Applicants must successfully complete the A.L.E.R.T test (MCJA), pass a physical agility test, (MCJA Standard), background investigation, psychological, polygraph exam, and medical examination. Minimum requirements include high school diploma, valid driver’s license, good mental and physical condition and 21 years of age. Preference will be given for certified law enforcement experience, post secondary education and or military experience.
Salary will be based on experience. The Town of South Berwick offers a generous benefit package per Police Union contract.
